Typical clients include residential, factories, sectional title blocks, office parks, property owners, commercial factories, cold storage, retirement homes, garage forecourts, shopping centres, fast food outlets, schools & colleges, in fact anyone using electricity and /or suffering from load shedding.
THE PACKAGE
PV Consult provides a 50% fee share and a full independent agency / franchise arrangement ideal for professionals and allied industry experts seeking a way to enter and benefit from the lucrative renewable industry. Typical sale of R500K to over R5m where our consulting fees range from 10% to 5% according to the value of the implementation.

With the ever increasing cost of electricity Solar has a typical 3-4 year payback and a ROI commencing at 25% to over 30% and growing in line with ESKOM inflation.

If you come from a management, financial, professional sales, or technical/consulting background and have suitable business acumen, this opportunity will suit.
This can be a fulltime/part time opportunity, you require a laptop, reliable transport and the right attitude to offer clients your best advice supported by a back office that are there to ensure you are fully supported, your success is our success.
You do not need to have any detailed electrical know how, albeit knowing basic difference between a generator and an inverter, or what a solar system is destined to achieve would be minimum requirements. Full training over a 5 day course on all the basic components provides all the tools and know how/IP required to get started. You will have the benefit of personal training and IP that has been developed and proven. There is ongoing training, including a PV Greencard to provide credibility.
Naturally the more you learn and invest in your own knowledge and marketing will significantly enhance the experience..

PV Consult also offers consulting on aspects such as Hybrid residential, Off Grid back up, solar for commercial a building up to the development of a solar farm and Wheeling electricity from point A-B.
As an Independent Solar Consultant you are not aligned to any one specific Solar installation company, you will be providing clients with independent advice and assistance on their solar journey.
FINANCIAL FEASIBILITY REPORT
Our core differentiator is to offer a range of services, usually commencing with a detailed independent financial feasibility study to assess the exact viability of going solar. This is created for you. The report provides a full range of financial indicators against a base cost price, such as ROI and payback, we consult on the competing finance packages, including PPA’s and bank finance.
TENDER
If the client then wishes to explore further, the next stage is we create for you a detailed and transparent tender document to go to a list of pre approved solar consultants . The purpose being to allow the multiple EPC’s the ability to tender based on a standard agreed specification.
CUSTOM SOFTWARE
We have built our own custom software that provides an independent Financial Feasibility study that provides a client with an exact understanding of the savings from solar, this allows them to understand the benefits and costs applicable PRIOR to assessing which supplier, or finance model to secure.
This report takes into account and delivers on the variable units saved under different tariff structures and provides the client with a detailed 365 day analysis of historical consumption data and compared to an accurate proposed solar size (Helioscope). The report includes any SSEG Feedback & Peak Demand Analysis leading to any tariff optimisation (if applicable)
The firm was established in June 2021 with an existing pipeline that will be available, combined with our marketing you can hit the ground running
COMPANY FRANCHISE / AGENCY (BRANDED / WHITE LABEL)
Company based agents will be able to offer our reports under your own "white label” with your logo and look & feel. These tend to be synergy companies, typically utility, property managers or electrical firms that have their own client base yet do not have the solar skills to compete in the EPC market.
