Two related Companies consisting of Suppliers of Electrical and Mechanical Power Transmission Equipment and a Steel Manufacturing, Engineering business.
TransmissionsThe Transmission business is the largest of the two businesses.
Started by the owner and his wife in 1997 and serves a northern province.
They supply all Electrical and Mechanical power transmission products, wholesale and to the public. They have a huge product range, and have many exclusive distributorships for their province, amongst others; Geared Motors, Pneumatics, VSD’s and Soft Starters, High Pressure Washers, Conveyor Idlers and Accessories, Electric Motors, Belting, Cables, Pumps and Accessories, Bearings and Accessories, Electrical and Mechanical Power Transmissions, Generators, Tools and Hardware.
In 2023 they opened a Contractors Corner intending to assist contractors with all their day-to-day electrical needs.
- Their aim is to bring the best buyer experience to contractors through innovative hardware, product availability, quality products, best prices and outstanding service.
- They stock quality name-brand products at competitive prices Their vision is to supply excellent service to the contractors and to grow to the extent that they could open a contractor’s corners in every town.
- They will attempt to stock everything from DB’s, circuit breakers, plugs, light switches, light fittings, conduit and accessories, nail-in anchors, bolts, screws, both steel and concrete drills, power tools, step ladders, LED fittings, globes, bolts and nuts and 100’s of other products.
Engineering business:The Engineering business provides general mechanical and electrical engineering services, panel building, PLC's, VSD, repairs of pumps, gearboxes, high-pressure washers, and generators. They manufacture generators, and do plasma cutting, bending, milling, cutting and general steel work.
The owner is unwell, are no longer able to work and his wife has effectively been running the business for the past few years. She is willing to remain but there are also two senior managers, both of which are able to succeed them.
