Two businesses- both precision engineering businesses merged their operations into one in 2018.
Both businesses were established about 30 years ago by the late father of the current owners.
At its peak, the business manufactured products that were exported to as many as 10 countries worldwide with an annual revenue stream of more than R50m per annum.
Activity, Products & Markets
It is a precision engineering environment with both conventional and CNC Turning & Milling capabilities. They have superior surface polishing know-how and techniques offering high gloss surfaces when required. The one business developed a product range with the target market in medical supplies. The business developed some award-winning technologies and at some stage exported to 9 different countries.
The other part of the business is involved in the contract manufacture of parts for the Armament, packaging, food & wine, printing, and general engineering and machining applications.
The business holds strong manufacturing & cost advantages.
Marketing
The design, manufacturing, and technological aspects of the business have enjoyed preference over the marketing strategies followed by the business.
The company uses direct sales strategies and has a presence in Gauteng as well as The Western Cape. There is also a long-term partnership in one export country where sales have been sustained over many years.
The business has a website that is currently under construction which website will be used as the window of advertising to promote its advanced and competitive range of products.
