As Brokers we specialise in the whole process in selling of businesses. From the point of finding business owners who would like to sell, valuing the business, collating all documentation required, promoting the business for sale, qualifying potential buyers, negotiating the sale, preparing the agreement, assisting in raising finance, and eventually earning our commission. Obviously, it is not as simple as that but that is the general process.
So ideally, we are looking for people with a sales/marketing background, some basic financial knowledge, and business experience who we can train in the profession of selling businesses, to acquire a business broking license under our banner. This is a commission only basis and a potential licensee should be able to carry themselves for 4 months, however potential earnings from R700K per annum
What I have found exciting about business broking over the years, is that you really are your own boss, you can work from home or coffee bars, you have no staff, and you choose which businesses and buyers you want to transact with, and earnings are commensurate with your efforts.
