This is a tutoring platform founded in 2017. We launched our newest version of our automated app in August 2023 and since have generated over R300,000 in revenue. We project a nett profit of R400 000 for the year and R1 million in revenue.
We have over 1000 tutors on our platform, and over 100 students receive tutoring via our platform, paying R1000 to R20,000 per tutoring booking (R2000 on average per tutor booking). We have a big university tutoring client base (UP, UCT, Stellies, WITS, NWU and Unisa), as well as Cape Town and School parents in Gauteng. We operate Nationwide
Tutors apply to tutor with us, and our administrator will vet them and reject / accept them on the platform. Once approved, they setup their tutor profile.
University and School Students and parents request a tutor via our platform from our website, receive an automatic invoice and then tutor matches are automatically notified via email. The tutors apply for the tutor requests via their dashboard. Students can see the tutor profiles, pay for the tutor request, book their tutors and then start their lessons.
Tutors log their lessons on the platform. Students can rate the lessons or ask for a redo if they weren't satisfied. The tutor payment amounts are loaded on the dashboard at the end of each month for payment.
