The business is based at a service station in Colleen Glen, a semi rural suburb about 15 minutes from PE, and it serves mainly the residential suburbs on Seaview Clarendan Marine, beachview and Blue Horizon Bay and all the small holdings in between. It is ideally situated as smallholdings generally have many pets, the business can grow under the right management, to expand to include deliveries, 30 day accounts for business and farm customers as well as exotic pet food, trade in equine supplies and small livestock supplies. There is no one supplying premium band foods like hills and Royal Canin in a 10 km radius. Customer base is loyal and appreciate the convenience of having the poet food store close by.
The business started as part of an established veterinary clinic next door
(running for 20 years) and was restructured to be a stand alone business 1 year ago. this enabled me to introduce new products and most of these have been well received by the market. We now stock a wide range including Jock, Montego, Monty And Me, Eukanuba, Liebe, Complete, Feline Cuisine, Optimizor, Boelies Bites, Nutribyte, Hills Royal Canin and Ultradog. We also stock a wide range of over the counter products like tick and flea meds, deworming, shampoos, pet toys and grooming accessories
