The business was started by the current owner's parents in 1964. They have been doing business for the past 62 years, and it is one of the oldest running businesses in the Eastern Free State.

Takeaways – This fast food outlet is one of the oldest businesses in town. Currently, 7 employees prepare and serve fast food at this segment. The biggest seller is potato chips, and it sells +- 1,500 kg/week.
There are many people benefiting from their longer trading hours. Many get their breakfast and dinner at the takeaways. It is popular with highway drive-through truck drivers for it’s high quality food.
Fruit and Vegetables - The main purpose of their business is selling fresh produce to the public and some local businesses and street vendors 7 days a week.
Groceries - To add to the needs of their customers, they provide a basic range of groceries, bread & butter, milk, cool drinks, and magazines.
